Chassis Role: DRE/ Senior Engineer – Tunable components

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DRE/Senior Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on tunable components within the chassis, requiring a strong engineering background and a passion for automotive technology. The position is onsite.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering is required.
• CATIA: Proficiency in CATIA is essential for 3D modeling and design of chassis components.
• UG NX: Experience with UG NX is required for design and analysis tasks.
• Team Center: Familiarity with Team Center for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is necessary.
• PLM: Understanding and practical application of PLM principles for managing product data and workflows.
• DFMEA: Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate potential design flaws.
• DVP&R: Knowledge of Design Verification and Validation Planning (DVP&R) to ensure thorough testing and validation of designs.
• Control Plan: Ability to develop and implement robust Control Plans to maintain product quality and consistency.
• PFMEA: Experience in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to assess and improve manufacturing processes.
• PPAP: Understanding of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements for new product launches.
• Root Cause Analysis: Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis to effectively identify and resolve engineering and manufacturing issues.
• DFSS: Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies to optimize product design for performance and reliability.
• Shainin: Familiarity with Shainin techniques for problem-solving and process improvement.
• DOE: Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize designs and processes through statistical analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to apply Analytical Skills to solve complex engineering problems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills for effectively conveying technical information to stakeholders.
• Suspension Design: A strong understanding of Suspension Design principles and practices.

Experience Required: 5 - 8 years of relevant engineering experience. This level of experience indicates a need for a seasoned professional capable of independent work, mentoring junior engineers, and leading complex projects.
