B SUV SOW – VEHICLE PERFORMANCE

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced B SUV SOW – Vehicle Performance professional to join our team within the Automotive industry. This role focuses on ensuring the durability, reliability, and overall performance of our vehicles, adhering to stringent Stellantis Standards and Regulatory Requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough Vehicle Validation and performance assessments. This includes identifying and addressing potential issues throughout the vehicle lifecycle, from initial design to ongoing Fleet Management. The role requires a proactive approach to Issue Identification and a commitment to achieving optimal vehicle performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in vehicle performance, durability, or reliability engineering is expected. This level of experience should demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex vehicle performance challenges and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth Data Analysis to identify trends and patterns related to vehicle performance.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong Problem-Solving Skills are essential for effectively addressing vehicle performance issues and developing sustainable solutions.
• RCA Techniques: Proficiency in applying Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) methodologies to systematically identify the underlying causes of vehicle failures and performance degradation.
• Durability & Reliability Expertise: A strong understanding of Durability and Reliability principles, including the ability to design and execute Durability Cycles to assess vehicle performance under various operating conditions.
• Vehicle Systems Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of both ICE Vehicle Systems and BEV Vehicle Systems, including their respective performance characteristics and potential failure modes.
• Degradation Trend Analysis: Ability to perform Degradation Trend Analysis to predict future performance issues and proactively implement preventative measures.
• Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills are required to effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Cross-functional Alignment: Ability to foster Cross-functional Alignment across various engineering and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to vehicle performance and reliability.
• Regulatory Requirements & Compliance: A thorough understanding of Regulatory Requirements and Compliance standards related to vehicle performance and safety.
